Aruba Soul Beach Welcome Party

 In Our Travel Experience

Who’s ready to party?! We are! Last night we attended the first official welcome party of the 2013 Aruba Soul Beach Music Festival at Confessions night club. Security was in full effect at the entrance so the line movement was steady but a bit slow. Regardless, it did not take long for the club to fill up and for everyone to get to the dance floor to do what they do!

This club had a great sound system and a cool modern decor. The first DJ played the normal cross over pop hits from Beyonce, Rhianna, etc. to get things started then he flowed into a hip hop set and eventually starting playing the usual wobble and group dance songs. Once DJ General Lee took over the energy level quickly elevated and kept the club jumpin’ ’til 3 in the morning!

Afterwards, we did what everyone did who parties that late – we began roaming around to find something to eat! You would think at least one food truck on Aruba would have the insight to be parked somewhere close to make all of that post club money. Oh well. I am so glad I had three slabs of ribs in the fridge from Smokey Joe’s!!!
